Small mall with a lot of high end stores where we spent about an hour to escape the rain while on vacation. Exceptionally-clean bathrooms, which is not common in many malls. Good to spend an hour or two and grab a meal. We ate at Cooper’s Hawk and it was excellent. Good luck finding the Starbucks, though, as it's tucked away in a weird location in Macy's next to a parking garage.
The mall was really nice. Has lots of stores and it is huge. It can be a little confusing getting to all the areas so you don’t miss anything. Parking is a little tough at peak times.
As a Ft. Lauderdale Mall, Galleria holds its own. Its upscale for that an its overall square footage is as commanding as any other. If you are not a serious shopper, beware, you are going to be defeated. But its a decent mall.. it may not seem to obvious, but with the right shopping technique, you can actually realise some pretty Ok bargains. The bank of stores is also quite good, alongside the premium outlets. We got some great footware and Aeropostal casuals for some really good prices. Make the time - its on the way to Las Olas Boulevard.
First fantastic surprise - free convenient covered parking in downtown Fort Lauderdale! I expected Galleria Mall to be like the numerous malls I'd visited throughout Greater Fort Lauderdale but I was pleasantly surprised. Some stores have a nicer variety of stock in this mall than in their other locations and though the stores are generally upscale, you can find good sale prices. My biggest wow - the food court: so much cleaner than others elsewhere, with well designed furnishings and decor. Even the smoothie/cafe-styled option in this food court felt upscale and their rum cake was really nice. Hands down the nicest mall experience in Fort Lauderdale!
